The Virtual Sweet Tea House: An Overview of the Tibetan Cyberspace

For Blogday 2010, I was asked to write an overview of the Tibetan cyberspace for a site called I Heart Tibet, dedicated to documenting cultural resistance in Tibet today.

I realised that even though I spend so much time putting High Peaks Pure Earth together, I had never written any kind of overview or introduction for what I do. So it’s a good feeling to have put some basic things down!

Here are the links to the article on various places on the interwebs:

Summer in Vancouver

I’m in Vancouver where I’m volunteering at the 12th Seminar of the International Association of Tibetan Studies, a week long conference starting on August 15! Here are the panels coming up next week at UBC, should be really interesting: http://www.iar.ubc.ca/programs/ctsp/iats/panels.aspx
